Introduction to Brian & Meredith
A few years ago, Brian and Meredith Woodard developed a deep burden for the brokenness in their community of Mathiston. Many of the people they were connecting with had been affected by addiction in some way or were in the midst of it. In response, the Woodards began showing them that there is a way out of addiction through the transforming power of the gospel. They developed a ministry called Restoring Hope, with a vision to provide gospel-centered principles for overcoming addiction.
Through this journey, the burden to reach those who are lost, broken, and hurting only grew in the Woodards’ hearts. The more they became involved in the Mathiston community, the more they saw hopelessness manifesting in the lives of so many—even those who were not struggling with addiction. Their longing to see people find hope deepened, knowing that true hope is only found in the gospel.
